The salary range for this position is $59,661.54 to $96,767.80 for Schedule A, and $59,661.54 to $91,929.42 for Schedule
B. For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater. Judiciary employees hired prior to June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule
A. Newly hired individuals, and Judiciary employees hired on or after June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule
B.

REMOTE WORKThe Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. To participate in this program, in addition to installing a multifactor authentication app on your phone or tablet, you will be required to have high speed home internet access.
Position SummaryThe Hudson Vicinage is seeking a Human Resources professional who is motivated and committed to providing quality customer service. The successful candidate must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills. Under the general direction of the Human Resources Division Manager and the Assistant Human Resources Division Manager, the successful candidate will provide technical human resource advice and assistance to managers, supervisors, and employees in the areas of benefits, leave administration, the Family Medical Leave Act/Family Leave Act, Worker’s Compensation, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), payroll, recruitment and selection, classification and compensation.
This individual will establish working relationships with state agencies and other stakeholders, conduct Human Resources related training and new employee orientations, establish record keeping systems, recommend improvements in work units, compile and maintain statistical data, develop manuals, compose correspondence, reports and/or proposals, participate in team or work unit meetings and handle special projects. The selected individual must also possess the ability to interpret Judiciary policies, regulations, laws, bargaining unit agreements, and the NJ Administrative Code, and must have the ability to communicate this information to management and staff.
The successful candidate must demonstrate honesty and integrity, strong interpersonal, multitasking, time management and total quality management skills, and the ability to work with a team. The selected candidate may also perform other duties as required.
Regular and predictable physical presence at the worksite is an essential function of this position.
