We are seeking a motivated and experienced part‑time recruiter to join our team on a flexible, hybrid remote basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a recruiting professional who values work‑life balance and needs scheduling flexibility (e.g., parents, semi‑retired professionals, or those seeking reduced hours). You will play a key role in attracting and hiring top talent to support our growing team across multiple Ohio locations.
Key Responsibilities- Source, screen, and interview candidates for a variety of roles (warehouse, sales, administrative, technical, and management positions)
- Post job openings on relevant platforms, company website, and industry‑specific sites
- Manage applicant tracking, coordinate interviews, and collaborate with hiring managers
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future needs
- Assist with onboarding new hires and maintaining positive candidate experiences
- Stay updated on recruiting best practices and local labor market trends in the Dayton/Cincinnati area
- Previous recruiting or talent acquisition experience (agency, in‑house, or HR‑related preferred)
- Strong understanding of sourcing techniques, including Linked In, job boards, networking, and referrals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, Word, Excel) and comfort using applicant tracking systems (ATS) or HR tools
- Familiarity with the HVACR industry or trades recruiting is a plus, but not required
- Must reside in or near the Dayton or Cincinnati, Ohio area for occasional in‑person needs
- Flexible schedule – Set your own hours (part‑time, typically 15–25 hours/week depending on needs and your availability)
- Hybrid remote work model – Work from home most of the time with flexibility for occasional visits to our Dayton headquarters or Cincinnati branch
