South Tek Resources, a full service tactical headhunting firm specializing in the unique staffing needs of the Defense and Aerospace, Technology, Manufacturing, Security, and Private Equity markets.

We are a seasoned group of Senior Level Talent Sourcers who use advanced methods to help clients increase their return on their Human Capital Assets by hiring the best. We are expanding our Private Equity Staffing Solutions Team and are currently hiring Private Equity Staffing Solutions Services Account Managers in the Metro New York City area due to significant growth throughout the region.

Our core service offerings include full life‑cycle strategic staffing support and tactical recruiting of C‑Suite and other high‑caliber individuals specializing in due diligence, integration planning, and implementation support across the full venture capital and M&A transaction spectrums. We recruit virtually for various hot markets throughout the Contingent US, bounce deals off each other, pay high commission, provide extensive training and support, and offer a 50/50 commission split.

We provide a Linked In Recruiter account, robust database/ATS/CRM, corporate email accounts, an employee intranet page with resources, training classes, seminars, job board accounts, branding, invoicing, and legal support. We also provide a Ring Central cloud‑based phone line and extension, as well as a Zenefits cloud‑based HR/payroll system. You handle your own home office expenses and taxes, work remotely, and communicate daily with the team.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and generate new business and potential target clients through cold calls, prospecting, scheduling meetings, and relationship building to grow the account base.
  • Present Contract, Contract‑to‑Hire, and Permanent Placement services to companies in the local marketplace.
  • Work directly with existing and new clients, maintaining and developing long‑term business partnerships.
  • Employ a consultative sales approach with C‑level executives, middle management, and Human Resources.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with decision makers in IT Leadership, Recruiting, and Human Resources across all industries.
  • Conduct meetings with decision makers to understand their human capital challenges and recommend solutions.
  • Effectively follow up with prospects through phone, email, and in‑person meetings, populating the CRM and ATS systems accordingly.
  • Build synergy within the team and organization; develop a personal referral network.
  • Partner with the staffing/recruiting team to ensure superior service to clients.
Qualifications
  • Self‑starter with a "hunter" personality who is never micro‑managed and driven by success.
  • Strong network of contacts at technology‑centric private equity and hedge funds, and at later‑stage venture capital firms; prior business relationships with such firms are required.
  • Ability to build, cultivate, and manage client relationships while expanding the Private Equity Staffing Solutions client portfolio.
  • Documented track record for achieving targeted objectives.
  • Strong sales mentality and general understanding of the sales lifecycle from lead generation to closing.
  • Critical thinking skills, intellectual curiosity, and sound business judgment.
  • Outstanding telephone presence and superior written communication skills.
  • Team player, natural leader, competitive, savvy with social media platforms, strong attention to detail, highly organized, highly energetic, positive, persistent, and self‑motivated.
  • Strong negotiating and cold‑calling experience required.
  • Ability to work from a remote office is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
