Job Description
We are currently hiring to support the continued growth of our expanding practice! We are seeking a Human Resources Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our Human Resources Department. This role focuses on foundational and administrative HR responsibilities, with a clear path for professional growth into a leadership and HR Manager role, if appropriate, as the company expands. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, people-oriented, eager to learn, and excited to grow within a dynamic healthcare environment.
The home office for this role can be in our Oxford or Shelton, CT office locations. Hybrid/remote hours may also be available.
Job Responsibilities
Main responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with recruitment efforts, including job postings, applicant screening, and interview coordination
- Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes
- Maintaining accurate employee files and HR documentation
- Assisting with employee benefit administration and payroll coordination
- Tracking compliance requirements, certifications, and required trainings
- Insurance credentialing and CAQH profile maintenance
- Supporting performance review processes and internal documentation
- Assisting with employee engagement initiatives and team-building programs
- Responding to employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and procedures
- Supporting HR reporting and data tracking
- Assisting with implementation of HR systems and process improvements
- Creating and disseminating employee and candidate newsletters
- Any additional duties that support the mission and growth of the organization

- Proficient in Google Workspace and comfortable learning new software systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred - HR certification (or willingness to obtain in the future) is a plus!
