Lead Technical Recruiter

Scaled is a staff augmentation company that connects skilled South African IT technicians with US-based Managed Service Providers (MSPs). Our technicians work as embedded team members for our clients, delivering helpdesk support, network administration, systems management, and more -- all from South Africa. We're growing fast, and our client demand for quality technicians is outpacing our current pipeline. That's where you come in.

We're looking for a proactive, resourceful IT Recruiter to build and manage our candidate pipeline end-to-end. This isn't a post-and-pray role - you'll be actively sourcing, engaging, and vetting technical talent across South Africa to ensure we always have a bench of qualified, deployment-ready technicians.

• Own the full recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and pipeline management
• Proactively source candidates through Linked In, job boards (PNet, Careers
  24, Offer Zen), tech communities, university partnerships, and referral networks
• Screen candidates for technical competency, English communication skills, and remote work readiness
• Coordinate technical assessments and evaluate results alongside our team
• Maintain a warm bench of pre-vetted candidates ready for rapid deployment to clients
• Manage candidate relationships and keep your pipeline engaged through regular touchpoint
• Track and report on recruiting metrics: pipeline health, time-to-fill, placement quality
• Collaborate with leadership to understand evolving client requirements and adjust sourcing strategies accordingly

• 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in IT, technical, or MSP-related ro
• roles
  
  Strong understanding of IT roles and terminology (helpdesk, desktop support, network administration, sysadmin, NOC operations)
• Experience sourcing on Linked In Recruiter, job boards, and through direct outreach
• Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal
• Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Organized and process-driven with strong attention to detail
• Familiarity with ATS/CRM tools (Zoho Recruit experience is a plus)
• Based in South Africa with reliable internet connectivity

• Experience recruiting for international or US-based clients
• Understanding of the Managed Service Provider (MSP) industry
• Background in IT or technical support
• Experience with sourcing automation tools
