Calling all detail‑oriented and efficient HR Generalists with a keen focus on fostering a positive employee experience — we want YOU! If you are an employee‑focused HR Generalist who can slice through employee support tickets while having courageous conversations that encourage a positive work environment and culture for all, we have an exciting opportunity for you in Hayward, CA
. In this critical, high‑impact role you will manage our onsite operations as we onboard 10–20 new hires per month, ensuring a smooth onboarding process, answering new hire questions and identifying ways to improve the experience.

Responsibilities

What you can expect day‑to‑day. Rooted in operational excellence and enriching the company culture through a positive employee experience, you will perform the following core activities:

  • Ensure seamless onboarding experiences for new hires through operational excellence, flexibility, and quick communication.
  • Foster positive employee satisfaction by managing and resolving support tickets (average volume 60+ tickets per day).
  • Oversee onsite HR operations and act as a point of contact for interpersonal conflicts or concerns.
  • Prioritize operational issues as the real‑time point of contact and implement creative solutions as they arise.
  • Diligently collaborate with a broad interdisciplinary team to scale operational processes, systems, and tools for rapid growth.
  • Analyze and interpret metrics/KPIs to identify inefficiencies and optimize operations for an enhanced employee experience.
  • Communicate metrics/KPIs clearly and facilitate off‑boarding conversations as needed.
  • Occasional travel to Miami, FL or Dallas, TX to support HR operations on site.
Requirements

What it takes: this full‑time onsite position is based in the Hayward, CA area.

  • 2+ years of HR and People Operations support.
  • Experience managing a high volume of support tickets with end‑to‑end ownership and follow‑up.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated experience fostering a positive work environment.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering performance feedback and accountability conversations in a professional yet supportive manner (or willingness to learn).
  • Experience in project management, creating/refining operational processes, and customer service.
  • Self‑starter ready to take on responsibility and contribute to projects of all types.
  • Outgoing leader skilled at communicating professionally with employees and partners.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to adapt as conditions change.
Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Project management experience with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience managing and scheduling a team.
  • Onsite or in‑person management experience.
  • Experience with off‑boarding conversations.
  • Experience with technology platforms like Front, Slack, and Google Suite.
