If so, Fisher Investments Australia (FIA) is looking to add a Human Resources Generalist to its rapidly growing Sydney office!

Opportunity

As the Human Resources Generalist, you will be the primary HR resource for FIA. You will coordinate between employees, Human Resources and Legal & Compliance on a variety of employee matters. You will also build and lead HR trainings, oversee the employee exit process, and welcome new employees during their HR orientation. Being part of a bigger team, you will also work on department-wide improvement initiatives, workplace safety, and other ad hoc requests such as benefits matters, onsite emergencies, and employee appreciation.

You will report directly to the Global Senior Vice President of Human Capital Operations who will facilitate your training, growth, and career development.

The Day-to-Day
  • Oversee and effectively handle various employment matters, including performance management, complaints and investigations
  • Ensure compliance with FIA's employment policies including providing guidance to managers regarding personnel practices and firm policies
  • Serve as the FIA onsite HR resource for personnel questions and grievances
  • Create and oversee various employment trainings
  • Compile, maintain, and audit HR documentation, such as personnel and Right to Work documents
  • Handle FIA termination processes, including conducting exit interviews and overseeing exiting logistics while working with legal counsel
  • Serve as the onsite support for various FIA Human Capital needs, such as Total Rewards events, Benefits and New Employee Orientation
Your Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • 3+ years of Human Resources experience required
  • Working knowledge of Australian employment laws (Benefits, Payroll, antidiscrimination and harassment, terminating lawfully, etc.)
