Med-Call Healthcare – Healthcare Contract Recruiter (Remote – Chicagoland-Based) Position Summary

Med-Call Healthcare, a leading healthcare staffing and recruitment agency serving the Chicagoland area for over 35 years, is seeking experienced Healthcare Recruiters for contract-based roles with the potential to transition into full-time salaried positions.

Due to increased demand across Illinois and surrounding markets, we are expanding our recruitment team to support high-volume staffing needs across nursing, allied health, and physician placements.

This is a remote position; however, candidates must reside in the Chicagoland area for occasional in-person meetings and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for healthcare professionals, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
  • Recruit for a variety of disciplines, including nursing, allied health, and physician roles
  • Utilize job boards, ATS systems, social media, and direct outreach to identify qualified candidates
  • Conduct high-volume outbound calls, candidate follow-ups, and pipeline management
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Coordinate credentialing requirements and ensure candidates meet compliance standards
  • Work closely with account managers and leadership to fulfill client staffing needs quickly and effectively
  • Meet and exceed weekly and monthly placement and activity targets
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in full-cycle healthcare recruiting
  • Proven experience recruiting for nursing, allied, and/or physician roles
  • Strong familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting platforms (e.g., Indeed, Linked In, etc.)
  • Understanding of healthcare credentialing and compliance processes
  • Ability to manage a high-volume workload and prioritize multiple requisitions
  • Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
