AboutThe Role
We're looking for a Prevailing Wage and Apprenticeship Compliance Specialist on behalf of our client. This is an 11‑month contract assignment (W‑2). You will work remotely to ensure compliance with prevailing wage and apprenticeship requirements for renewable energy projects. You will audit data inputs from contractors, verifying completeness and correctness, creating reports for deficiencies, and presenting findings to upper management. The PWACA will also input data into dashboards and host meetings to discuss compliance status.
Each project will have its own unique requirements, and it will be the responsibility of the PWACA to gather each requirement and relay information to the respective individuals responsible for meeting compliance. You will gather certified payrolls and other related documentation, and serve as the main point of contact for any prevailing wage labor compliance requirements.
Location:
Remote position. May travel up to 15%.
- Review data inputs from contractors about prevailing wage and apprenticeship.
- Compare data against criteria set in project tax and finance stipulations and contract exhibits.
- Verify data for completeness and correctness.
- Create status reports and corrective action notes for management.
- Input data into dashboards for recurring compliance reporting.
- Review payroll and determine compliance with wage accuracy, fringe benefits contributions, and other labor compliance aspects.
- Gather certified payrolls and other documentation, implement detailed audits, compose findings reports, perform discrepancy research, provide support, and serve as the main point of contact for prevailing wage labor compliance requirements.
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- At least 3 years of experience in wage compliance/payroll administration.

The base salary range for this position is estimated to be $40.00/hr to $45.00/hr.
