About the Role
Avride is seeking a Contract Talent Partner/Junior Recruiter to fuel our rapidly growing workforce. In this pivotal role, you will own the full-cycle recruitment process for our hourly contract teams, ensuring we scale with both speed and precision. What You'll Do
- Manage the full lifecycle recruiting for our hourly contractor workforce.
- Conduct high volume phone/video screens daily to identify and qualify talent for hourly roles
- Act as the face of Avride, moving candidates through the funnel with speed, clarity, and genuine enthusiasm
- Coordinate and manage recruiting logistics including scheduling onsites, prepping candidates for success, and following up to keep candidates engaged.
- Initiate background check and other pre-employment steps
- Coordinate offers and start dates
- Lead and attend hiring events, networking functions and career fairs
- Partner with the broader recruiting team to meet corporate hiring goals and objectives
- Minimum 2-3 years of recruiting or staffing experience in an agency or in-house environment
- Experience with high-volume/hourly hiring (ops, drivers, warehouse, trades, support, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to deliver a great candidate experience at scale - clear communication, respect, and responsiveness.
- Organization and fast paced - nothing slips thru the cracks
- Comfortable being on calls all day
- Can quickly understand the value our company offers and position the company and role in a compelling way to candidates
- Prior experience with an ATS or agency CRM, such as Greenhouse, and familiarity with tools like Slack and Google Workspace.
- General HR knowledge and a solid understanding of employment law/compliance
- A passion for autonomous vehicles and technology
- Knowledge of local labor laws and background check nuances
- Experience with creative sourcing to find candidates in non-traditional places
