As a Space

X University Recruiter, you will play a vital role in building the talent pipeline by attracting exceptional engineering, manufacturing, and technical students from universities across the U.S. to help drive our ambitious goals. You are often candidates' first encounter with Space

X, so you will represent the company with professionalism, pride, and enthusiasm. You will work autonomously while collaborating with teams to take initiative and see tasks to completion.

• Work with a large volume of intern candidates and hiring managers to convert them into full‑time roles.
• Plan and attend university outreach events for top universities.
• Screen candidates who apply to requisitions.
• Source candidates, often those not actively looking.
• Discuss screened candidates with client groups and recommend top candidates for interviews.
• Oversee the offer process for approved hires.

• Bachelor's degree and 1+ year of recruiting experience; or associate degree and 2+ years of experience; or 3+ years of professional recruiting experience in lieu of a degree.

• Experience supporting a large‑scale university recruiting program.
• Experience with high‑volume recruiting.
• Experience with planning and executing events.
• Strong tenure with demonstrated success in recruiting roles.
• Ability to distinguish top 50 % from the top 5 % of talent in their fields.
• Expertise in non‑standard recruiting methods (cold calling, ad‑hoc networking, unique sourcing campaigns, etc.).
• Comfortable interfacing directly with hiring managers, including director and VP‑level technical leaders.
• Ability to build strong relationships with both hiring managers and candidates.

• This role requires 30 % travel.
• Available to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
• Position is based in Bastrop, TX and requires being onsite – remote work not considered.

• Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder), refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
