We’re actively searching for our next
** Human Resources Manager
** to manage the Human Resources department in
** Chillicothe, MO**. We are looking for someone that is able to lead, manage, facilitate, connect, and build relationships with our plant personnel and the surrounding community. You will lead Human Resources for approximately 150 employees, and be a strategic partner for the Plant Director and Corporate HR team. This is an ideal role for someone looking to make an impact, lead change, and get involved with all aspects of Human Resources.

* Role Responsibilities:

*** Responsible for developing and implementing employee relations practices and strategies, including the following: employee engagement, labor relations, wage and salary administration, selection and staffing, orientation and training, organizational development, performance management, succession planning, conflict resolution and workers compensation.
* Influence, coach and provide guidance to the plant leadership team and employees regarding HR practices, policies and procedures.
* Active involvement in grievance resolution, arbitrations, contract renewal and general labor relations.  Maintain adherence to the collective bargaining agreement.
* Demonstrate a growth mindset that understands the organization’s goals and strategies; can effectively translate this direction into strategic and operational people practices.
* Partner with Operations leadership and other key stakeholders to drive HR and operational strategies.
* Responsible for leading investigations and proposing any related corrective action.
* Ensure compliance with policies and procedures for the entire site.
* Lead HR-related projects and initiatives both within the site and the broader HR Organization.

* Minimum Qualifications:

*** 5+ years of progressive human resources experience
* 2+ years of human resources management experience
* Experience in human resources within a manufacturing or industrial environment
*
* Preferred Qualifications:

*** Bachelor's degree
* HR certification (SCP, CP, PHR) preferred.
* Master’s degree in HR related discipline preferred.
* Prior HR experience in a union environment would be beneficial.
* Supervisory experience is preferred.
