We’re actively searching for our next
** Human Resources Manager
** to manage the Human Resources department at our distribution center in
** Rensselaer, IN**. This key leadership role at this facility must be able to strategically lead, manage, facilitate, connect, and build relationships with our personnel and the surrounding community. You will manage a small team, lead Human Resources for approximately 260 employees, and be a strategic partner for the Plant Director and Corporate HR team.

* Role Responsibilities:

*** Lead HR support at a large distribution center.
* Responsible for developing and implementing employee relations practices and strategies, including the following: employee engagement, wage and salary administration, selection and staffing, orientation and training, organizational development, performance management succession planning and conflict resolution.
* Influence, coach and provide guidance to the plant leadership team and employees regarding HR practices, policies and procedures.
* Demonstrate a growth mindset that understands the organization’s goals and strategies; can effectively translate this direction into strategic and operational people practices.
* Partner with Operations leadership and other key stakeholders to drive HR and operational strategies.
* Responsible for leading investigations and proposing any related corrective action.
* Ensure compliance with policies and procedures for the entire site.
* Lead HR-related projects and initiatives both within the site and the broader HR Organization.
* Manage a team of one HR professional.

* Minimum Qualifications:

*** 8+ years of progressive human resources experience
* 2+ years of human resources management experience
*
* Preferred Qualifications:

*** Bachelor's degree
* Prior experience working in a distribution center environment
* Human Resources certifications are ideal (i.e. SCP – Senior Certified Professional)
* Master’s degree in HR-related discipline
* Excellent knowledge of Human Resources practices; working knowledge of HR related laws and regulations
* Possess knowledge of management; the principles, practices, and procedures of Human Resources Management
* Strong communication skills, problem solving skills, and negotiation skills
* Ability to plan, coordinate, and direct the work of others
* Experience conducting employment related investigations
* Solid analytical skills and ability to understand the business context and strategy
* Ability to effectively work on multiple assignments, while responding to frequent interruptions and changing priorities
