Position: Contract HR Officer (Talent Acquisition) at Alexandra, up to $5000

Job Description

  • Coordinate and manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including posting of job advertisements, screening resumes, scheduling and attending interviews with potential candidates.
  • Assist in onboarding new hires by preparing employment contracts, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and promptly.
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the HR team with various administrative tasks such as filing, report generation, and handling HR correspondence.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives, including employee engagement activities, training arrangements, and performance management processes as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and employment regulations throughout all HR operations.

Period: 1 year contract

Location:

Alexandra

Salary: up to $5000

Working hours:

Monday to Friday (1 day of remote work per week subject to HoD approval)

  • 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
  • 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  • 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM
  • 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Requirements
  • Minimum diploma or bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required; prior experience in recruitment is preferred.
  • Familiar with Tripartite Guidelines on Fair Employment Practices and relevant regulations.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders and candidates at all levels.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and willingness to learn HR information systems.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
