Job Title: Workday HCM Consultant

Location: Remote

Duration: Long Term Contract

Rate: $60/hr on W2

Base pay range

$55.00/hr - $60.00/hr

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Workday HCM Consultant with Payroll certification to support and enhance Workday HCM implementations. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience with Workday Absence, Time Tracking, and Payroll, and will work closely with business stakeholders to deliver scalable and compliant HCM solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, implement, and support Workday Absence, Time Tracking, and Payroll modules.
  • Lead or support end‑to‑end Workday HCM implementations, enhancements, and ongoing support.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions.
  • Configure business processes, calculations, eligibility rules, and integrations related to Payroll and Time.
  • Support payroll processing, audits, reconciliations, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to ensure system accuracy and performance.
  • Troubleshoot issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and provide timely resolutions.
  • Assist with testing (unit, integration, UAT) and deployment activities.
  • Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and post‑go‑live support.
Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • Workday Payroll Certification (mandatory)
  • Strong experience with Workday HCM
  • Workday Payroll
  • Workday Time Tracking
  • Workday Absence Management
  • Experience working in Business Applications / HCM service environments
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, compliance, and controls
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting global or multi‑country payroll
  • Prior experience in Workday AMS or consulting engagements
  • Exposure to Workday integrations related to Payroll and Time
