Role OverviewAs a Senior Recruiter, you will play a pivotal role in the recruiting and sourcing of Strategy Analysts. The associates you hire will lead teams or contribute individually to Capital One Canada’s success. You will employ a creative approach to sourcing talent and use innovative recruiting techniques to position Capital One as a best‑in‑class recruitment shop.
Responsibilities- Manage the full‑lifecycle recruiting process, including creating compelling position descriptions, sourcing diverse talent pipelines, marketing Capital One’s talent brand, screening candidates, advising hiring managers, and negotiating job offers.
- Source stellar candidates beyond direct applications by leveraging search engines, career sites, recruiting events, and other innovative techniques to find the best talent in the market.
- Advise internal clients and leadership on market trends and recommend ways to attract and recruit great talent.
- Develop candidate pipeline strategies to fill open positions (e.g., talent marketing, Linked In sourcing, referrals).
- Create and extend job offers and close identified candidates.
- Leverage recruiting data to proactively provide status updates and hiring results to leadership and HR partners.
- Identify and engage potential partnerships with organizations to promote Capital One as an employer of choice.
- Work on business‑improvement initiatives including talent strategy development, sourcing tools, and pre‑assessments.
- 3+ years of experience in business analytics recruitment in a corporate or staffing environment, preferably recruiting for senior‑level positions.
- 2+ years of experience leveraging sourcing tools such as Linked In Recruiter, Stack Overflow, and Google X‑ray searches.
- 2+ years of experience creating and updating talent maps.
- Experience collaborating with recruiting managers and peers on sourcing strategies.
- Experience serving as a talent advisor and partner to hiring managers and leadership for all aspects related to recruiting.
- Strong asset:
Workday experience.

- Annual salary range: $94,800 – $108,200.
- Performance‑based incentive compensation eligible.
