Position: Payroll Analyst (Part-time) Framingham, Massachusetts, United States

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Payroll Analyst to join our team on a part‑time basis (20 hours per week). This hybrid role requires one day per week in the Framingham, MA office, while the remainder of the work can be performed remotely.

Responsibilities
  • Own end‑to‑end processing of hourly/non‑exempt payroll cycles, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Validate timekeeping data, resolve discrepancies, document each pay period, and respond to employee payroll inquiries.
  • Provide backup support for exempt payroll processing, including off‑cycle adjustments, manual payments, and audits.
  • Participate in ADP system configuration, testing, optimization, and ongoing implementation of ADP Celergo for global payroll operations.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance to support system enhancements, workflow improvements, and reporting needs.
  • Support global expansion initiatives, including payroll operations in India, research and process documentation, coordination with global providers, and compliance with country‑specific regulations.
  • Maintain payroll records in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, support year‑end processing, tax filings, and audits.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality standards for all employee payroll data.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    FPC (Fundamental Payroll Certification) or CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) designation, or actively pursuing one;
    Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience.
  • Technical

    Experience:

    Demonstrated experience processing hourly/non‑exempt payroll cycles; hands‑on experience with ADP platforms (Workforce Now, Run, or comparable products); working knowledge of multi‑state payroll laws and tax withholding requirements; strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy; ability to work independently and manage deadlines; proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Preferred Experience:

    Experience with ADP Celergo for international payroll operations, including payroll processing for India‑based employees; familiarity with India‑specific payroll compliance requirements (PF, ESI, TDS, professional tax); experience processing exempt payroll; exposure to the Work Yard platform; background or interest in global payroll expansion projects.
