Regional HR Compliance Specialist for Hire
At Truss, we believe that great talent exists everywhere — and that growing companies shouldn’t have to choose between accessing it and doing things the right way. We specialize in connecting U.S. enterprises with exceptional professionals in the Central Caucasus region, a part of the world rich with skilled, motivated talent that too many companies overlook. Whether a client needs end-to-end recruiting and Employer of Record (EOR) services, or simply a compliant employment structure for someone they’ve already found, we make it happen — cleanly, legally, and without the usual headaches of international hiring.
But this isn’t just a staffing story. We’re in the business of opening doors in both directions. For our clients, we unlock access to emerging markets and untapped talent pools that give them a real competitive edge. For the professionals we place, we open access to meaningful, well-compensated opportunities with some of the world’s most dynamic companies. That exchange matters to us.
We’re a small, operationally focused team that takes compliance seriously, moves quickly, and cares about doing right by the people on both sides of every placement.
- Develop working knowledge of the Labor Code of Georgia and the Labor Code of the Republic of Armenia, and stay current as regulations evolve.
- Draft, review, and localize employment agreements, NDAs, and consultancy contracts for both jurisdictions.
- Support mandatory reporting to local authorities, including health and safety compliance, pension fund registrations, and employment statistics.
- Help English-speaking clients understand local hiring practices, remote work regulations, and statutory benefits — translating complexity into clear, practical guidance.
- Assist with internal HR processes including employee separations, ensuring they’re handled compliantly and with care.
- Build and maintain documentation, playbooks, and SOPs so that knowledge is captured and scalable.
- Leverage AI tools to research, draft, and respond to client requests more efficiently — and help us improve those workflows over time.
- 2-4+ years in HR, labor compliance, or a related field — ideally with some exposure to the Caucasus region or similar emerging markets.
- Familiarity with employment regulations in Georgia and/or Armenia is a strong plus, but a demonstrated ability to research and learn new legal frameworks matters just as much.
- Comfortable communicating in English (B2 level or above) — you’ll be explaining local nuances to non-expert, English-speaking clients regularly.
- Resourceful and self-directed — able to find answers, build processes, and document what you learn.
- Curious about technology and open to using AI tools as part of your everyday workflow.
- High attention to detail and strong judgment when balancing business needs with compliance requirements.
- 2-3 hours of overlap with CST.
- Career Growth
- Work with Modern Tech
- Remote-Friendly Flexibility
- International Experience
- Pathway to U.S. Market Opportunities
- Stable, Growing Industry
