Job Overview
The HRBP will provide overall HR support to our various manufacturing and warehouse locations across Canada. This includes providing functional assistance in all areas such as employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, compliance, health & safety, Workday HRIS data management, policy implementation, learning & development, and various HR projects and initiatives. Coordinate employee relations issues with a diverse scope, focusing on developing partnerships with Supervisors and Managers.
Ensure smooth and efficient business operations by managing administrative duties in day-to-day HR matters. Provides support in facility roll‑outs and implementation of various functional initiatives such as Talent Management, Total Rewards, Diversity and Inclusion, and Employee Engagement. This full‑time position requires on‑site presence 4 days per week in our Bradford head office with 1‑day remote work.
- Provide support on employee relations matters, applying an understanding of policies and regulations in a manner that promotes a positive culture aligned to our guiding principles.
- Recruit for all front‑line positions, ensuring diverse hiring in all areas.
- Lead onboarding efforts for all plant positions.
- Provide guidance to managers on performance management, talent development, attendance and conflict resolution.
- Coordinate with the center of excellence teams to support implementation of HR programs across Canada locations.
- Handle all Workday HRIS entries and generate regular reports, as needed.
- Support various HR and/or Health & Safety related projects and initiatives.
- Assist with other Human Resources related tasks and duties, as required.
- Human Resources post‑secondary education required.
- 1‑3 years of relevant Human Resources experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse environments.
- Previous experience with recruiting, employee relations and HRIS (Workday preferred).
- Exposure to workplace investigations, policy development, and compliance activities.
- Previous experience helping support HR programs and initiatives.
- Excellent verbal, written, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to analyze issues, interpret data, and recommend sound, practical solutions.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Office‑based role with regular daily interaction in the manufacturing plant and warehouse on various shifts, with use of personal protective equipment.
Salary$70,000 - $76,000 with annual bonus incentive.
