Accountabilities:
  • Partner in the development and execution of enterprise labor relations strategy, identifying priorities and proactively addressing emerging labor risks.
  • Serve as lead or co-lead negotiator in collective bargaining processes, representing the organization in union negotiations and labor-management discussions.
  • Act as deputy to senior labor leadership, independently managing labor relations initiatives and providing coverage for senior-level responsibilities when required.
  • Lead or support labor campaigns and union organizing responses in collaboration with external consultants and legal counsel.
  • Oversee grievance and arbitration processes, ensuring consistent application of policies and compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations.
  • Analyze labor trends and workforce dynamics to generate insights and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Design and implement scalable labor relations processes and best practices to strengthen organizational capability and consistency.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business, or related field required.
  • 5+ years of progressive labor relations experience, including direct involvement in collective bargaining and union negotiations.
  • Proven experience partnering with external labor counsel and managing complex labor matters in a multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Background in labor campaigns, union organizing, or workforce relations strategy strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret labor data and trends into actionable recommendations.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, business acumen, and sound decision‑making under pressure.
  • Executive presence with strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively within cross‑functional and legal frameworks.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% as required.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary range of $130,000 – $150,000, plus eligibility for annual performance-based bonus.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • Life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability coverage.
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer participation.
  • Paid time off or flexible time off (based on eligibility) and paid holidays.
  • Tuition reimbursement and employee stock purchase plan.
  • Exposure to high‑impact labor relations strategy and enterprise‑level negotiations.
  • Remote work flexibility with significant field engagement and travel opportunities.
