OverviewPart‑time Career Navigator in Denver, CO. Supports Summer Search apprentices within Aon's mentorship and apprenticeship programs through individualized coaching, program monitoring, and professional development facilitation.
ResponsibilitiesApprentice Support & Coaching (40%)
- Conduct intake assessments with apprentices and their managers.
- Meet regularly with apprentices to support workplace readiness.
- Provide coaching and referrals for personal barriers.
- Maintain communication to track academic standing and well‑being.
- Track engagement, attendance, and case notes.
- Co‑develop individualized Success Agreement Plans.
- Connect monthly with apprentice managers via email or meetings.
- Encourage balanced feedback and reinforce guidance.
- Remind managers to complete required status reports and competency check‑ins.
Program Monitoring & Communication (15%)
- Partner with Aon Program Team to ensure apprentices meet graduation requirements.
- Raise and document high‑risk situations through established reporting channels.
Professional Development Program (20%)
- Plan, coordinate, and facilitate monthly professional development sessions.
- Coordinate event logistics and on‑site arrangements.
- Track participation for progress documentation.
Other Duties (5%)
- Provide occasional support for recruiting and engagement activities (career fairs, open houses, interviews, celebrations).
- Experience: At least 3 years in workforce development or career advising with early‑career individuals.
- Accountability: Holds self and others responsible for outcomes.

Inspires and fosters commitment, manages conflicts constructively. - Project Management: Strong organizational skills; experience leading project teams.
- Critical Consciousness: Recognizes sociopolitical barriers and acts to address them.
- Technology
Skills:
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
Part‑time position: 15 hours per week (3 days, 5 hours per day). In‑person at Aon office in Denver, CO. Remote work possible on occasion with agreement.
Compensation & BenefitsHourly salary: $40/hour, non‑exempt.
Retention bonus: $2,500 after 1 year, $2,500 after 2 years.
