HR Manager – Manufacturing Site
Weir ESCO in Newton, MS is looking for an experienced HR Manager to serve as the sole HR leader on the manufacturing site. The role is onsite most days with flexibility to work from home up to one day per week and reports directly to the North America HR Director.

Responsibilities- Serve as the trusted HR advisor to site leadership, acting as the sole HR leader on-site and providing credible, business‑aligned guidance.
- Translate business strategy into practical, forward‑looking people plans by leading workforce and organizational strategy, talent planning, and capability development.
- Own all aspects of employee relations, including investigations, issue resolution, and proactive risk identification, delivering balanced and compliant solutions.
- Leverage people data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that inform business decisions and partner with leaders to turn insights into actionable strategies.
- Champion safety, wellbeing, and company values with a strong presence on the floor and direct engagement with employees, supporting a zero-harm culture.
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the above responsibilities.
- Proven HR experience in shop‑floor environments, manufacturing, or heavy industrial settings.
- Confidence to operate independently as the only HR leader on site, working within a matrix organization and partnering with site leadership.
- Experience working within an HR model supported by Centers of Excellence and shared services.
- Strong judgment, credibility, and practical problem‑solving skills.
