WAV is seeking a Talent Acquisition & HR Coordinator to lead recruiting efforts across the organization and for MBSI WAV while supporting key HR coordination and administrative processes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys full-cycle recruiting, building strong partnerships with hiring managers, creating a positive candidate experience, and keeping HR operations organized and compliant.

Talent acquisition is the primary focus of this position, with additional responsibility for HR administrative support related to onboarding, records management, and general HR processes. The role also provides occasional backup support for payroll and benefits administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for open positions, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, candidate communication, and offer support
  • Partner with hiring managers to define hiring needs, candidate profiles, and recruiting strategies
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines through direct sourcing, referrals, networking, and job posting channels
  • Deliver a strong candidate experience through timely communication and professional follow-through
  • Support onboarding, HR documentation, employee records, and HRIS data accuracy
  • Track recruiting activity and hiring metrics to support continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Provide occasional backup support for payroll and benefits administration
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or human resources with significant recruiting responsibility
  • Experience managing full-cycle recruiting across multiple roles or departments
  • Knowledge of sourcing techniques, interview coordination, applicant tracking systems, and HRIS platforms
  • Strong communication, organization, confidentiality, and relationship-building skills
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and recruiting‑related compliance requirements
  • Bilingual Spanish and English skills are a plus

This is a full-time hybrid‑remote position based in the Aurora, Illinois area.
