HR Business Partner

As an HR Business Partner at Handpicked you are the trusted advisor for approximately four to five of our agencies, working closely with their management teams to translate organizational goals into a clear, people‑centric HR approach. You’ll advise on team building, individual casuistics and complex personnel matters while collaborating with the HR Manager, another HR Business Partner and two Recruitment Business Partners to cover the full spectrum of HR across the group.

You work mainly out‑of‑office in Rotterdam, with weekly meetings at the Breda office. In addition to supporting the agencies, you help steer large, cross‑cutting initiatives, divided by focus and expertise. These projects include:

• Talent & Performance:
  Building an employee journey that covers L&D, performance and talent management, leadership, career development and internal mobility.
• People & Culture:
  Strengthening our culture with a focus on diversity, equality and inclusion (DEI), while managing absenteeism, sustainable employability, team building and translating employee satisfaction surveys.
• Fit for the Future:
  Growing HR impact by innovating our way of working and leveraging AI and HR analytics for data‑driven decisions.
• Compensation & Benefits:
  Managing and optimizing salary structures, interview cycles, compliance, and benefits such as the fleet and pension schemes.

• More than five years of experience in a broad HR role.
• Ability to switch smoothly between tactical and operational levels.
• A hands‑on approach, initiating and handling tasks proactively and independently.
• Strong communication, organizational sensitivity, and willingness to advise and reflect.
• Excellent command of the Dutch language.

• A salary between €4,000 and €5,000 gross per month (based on experience).
