HRM advisor for national HRM advice and projects

We are looking for an all‑round HRM person who will advise the national Food Banks on HRM themes and issues. The national association of more than 170 food banks seeks to recruit, retain, and develop volunteers.

What are you going to do?

• Act as the first point of contact for regional relationship managers and Food Banks regarding HRM policy, themes, and projects.
• Develop and implement effective and efficient HRM processes and tools suitable for a volunteer organization.
• Advise board members and coordinators of local Food Banks on HRM matters and the organization of work.
• Develop and support HRM projects with local food banks.
• Contribute to the further development and rollout of the HRM policy of Food Banks in the Netherlands.
• Collect HRM data to populate HRM reports based on established KPIs.

This is your profile:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HRM professional with broad operational knowledge.
• Volunteering experience is a plus.
• Easily approachable, reliable, and a team player with empathy.
• Independent, proactive, pragmatic, and result‑oriented.
• Can work from home and is willing to visit the Service Center in Houten for periodic consultations.
• Can combine the volunteer role with other activities, available for at least 4 hours a week for a longer period.
