POSITION SUMMARY  Join TNDC as our Manager, Human Resources and play akey leadership role in shaping the employee experience across a growing,Indigenous-owned organization. Reporting as a strategic business partner, youwill lead all aspects of human resources—including employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, workforce development, and HRcompliance—while fostering a culture of respect, accountability, and high performance.

Guided by TNDC’s values of Safety, Tahltan-Centered,Integrity, Respect, and Pursuit of Excellence, you will help driveorganizational success while supporting TNDC’s mission of creating economicprosperity for the Tahltan Nation through responsible and sustainable business practices.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES   Recruits,interviews, hires, and participates in training new HR staff.
Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
Leads the corrective action process of employees in accordance with TNDC’s values and policies.
Oversight and leadership to Human Resource Team.
RESPONSIBILITIES   Implement,review, oversee and manage all HR functions, systems, and processes across the organization or designated work sites.
Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops andexecutes best practices for hiring and talent management.
Support recruitment and onboarding strategies to attract, hire, and retain qualified candidates.
Administercompensation and benefits programs in alignment with company standards andbudget.
Collaborate with the Center of Excellence/ Training department regarding workplace training initiatives, including compliance, leadership development, and culturalcompetency.
EnsureHR practices comply with applicable laws, regulations, and collectiveagreements (if applicable).
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Promotea positive work culture rooted in respect, inclusion, and accountability.
Participate in strategic planning related to workforce development and organizationalstructure.
Provide mentorship to HR staff and foster team development.
Reporting and maintaining the HR dashboard.
Other duties as required for the success of TNDC.
QUALIFICATIONS   Bachelor’sdegree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field;

CPHR/CHRP designation is considered an asset.
8–10+years of progressive Human Resources experience, including at least 5 years ina supervisory or management role.
Strong knowledge of British Columbia employment legislation, workplace health andsafety requirements, and HR best practices.
Experience in industrial, construction, mining, or remote work environments is considered an asset.
Experience working with Indigenous communities and a demonstrated commitment to culturalawareness, inclusion, and respect for diverse perspectives.
Proven ability to lead employee relations matters, conflict resolution processes,workplace investigations, and performance management initiatives.
Demonstrated experience in recruitment, workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding,and employee retention strategies.
Knowledge of compensation, benefits administration, total rewards programs, and HR reporting metrics.
Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining HR policies, procedures, and programs.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), payrollsystems, and employee data management.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
