DescriptionJob Summary
The HR Analyst plays a key role in analyzing and optimizing HR processes, systems, and programs. This position is responsible for collecting, compiling, and analyzing HR data to support strategic decision‑making and improve organizational effectiveness across areas including HR metrics, compensation, benefits, payroll, recruitment, and HR systems.
Key Responsibilities- Collect, analyze, and report HR-related data, including compensation, benefits, turnover, headcount, and other key HR metrics.
- Generate and maintain recurring and ad hoc HR reports to support business and leadership decisions.
- Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for process improvement through data analysis.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership.
- Participate in compensation surveys and analyze market data to support recommendations for salary structures, pay ranges, and job classifications.
- Support the administration of compensation and benefits programs, including bonus plans, merit increases, PTO accruals, and the 401(k) plan.
- Ensure accurate processing, reporting, audits, and compliance related to compensation and benefits programs.
- Assist with compensation and benefits analysis, benchmarking, and annual planning processes.
- Support the maintenance and optimization of HR systems and databases to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Partner with HR and IT teams to implement system enhancements and process improvements.
- Assist with HRIS configuration, testing, and reporting to improve operational efficiency.
- Assist with internal and external HR audits by preparing documentation and ensuring records are accurate and compliant.
- Conduct regular audits of HR processes and systems to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
- Help ensure HR policies and practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Two or more years of experience in an HR analyst, HR specialist or HR generalist role with a focus on data analysis and reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Working knowledge of HRIS platforms and related HR systems.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret, analyze, and present complex data clearly and effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross‑functionally.
This is a hybrid position with a combination of in‑office and remote work. Employees may work remotely up to two days per week.
