Are You Passionate About Helping Employees Navigate Life's Biggest Moments?

Consider joining our collaborative team as the Benefits & Leave Administrator! Pepperl+Fuchs, one of the leading companies in industrial sensor technology and intrinsically safe explosion protection, has been a pioneer in forward-looking automation technologies for eight decades. With a strong focus on the digital transformation of the automation industry, we deliver innovative solutions that support this evolution while also contributing to sustainability and energy efficiency.

At Pepperl+Fuchs, we combine a strong commitment to innovation with a deep respect for the traditions that have shaped our success.

New baby? Medical leave? Retirement planning? Open enrollment confusion? We all have life events that impact our work, and Pepperl+Fuchs is looking for someone who can help employees confidently navigate them. We're seeking an experienced Benefits & Leave Administrator who is equal parts problem-solver, relationship-builder, and detail enthusiast. In this role, you'll be the go-to expert for benefits and leave administration while also supporting compensation-related activities.

You'll help employees understand their options, guide managers through leave processes, and ensure our programs run smoothly and compliantly.

If you enjoy helping people, love organizing complex information, and can explain regulations without sounding like a regulation, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Be Doing

Be the Benefits Guru

  • Guide employees through benefits enrollment and life events.
  • Answer questions about medical, dental, vision, retirement, and wellness programs.
  • Coordinate annual open enrollment and help employees make informed decisions.
  • Partner with vendors and brokers to keep our programs running smoothly.

Support Employees Through Life Events

  • Manage leave programs including FMLA, disability, parental leave, military leave, and ADA accommodations.
  • Help employees understand their options and next steps.
  • Coordinate with managers, third-party administrators, and healthcare providers.
  • Support employees from leave request through successful return to work.

Put Your Analytical Side to Work

  • Process compensation changes, promotions, transfers, and salary adjustments.
  • Support compensation reviews and salary benchmarking activities.
  • Maintain accurate HRIS and benefits records.
  • Create reports and insights that help HR make informed decisions.

Keep Us Compliant

  • Ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, and other applicable regulations.
  • Maintain documentation and records with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist with audits, reporting, and policy updates.

You're a Great Fit If You…

  • Enjoy helping people solve problems.
  • Can juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball.
  • Have a knack for explaining complicated topics in simple terms.
  • Love spreadsheets almost as much as helping employees.
  • Pay attention to the detail's others miss.
  • Stay calm when navigating sensitive or confidential situations.
  • Believe compliance and customer service can coexist.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of benefits and leave administration experience.
  • Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, COBRA, ACA, HIPAA, and ERISA.
  • Experience with HRIS systems, ideally Dayforce and Workday, along with reporting tools.
  • Strong Excel and data management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Bonus Points For

  • Experience with compensation administration.
  • CEBS, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or similar certification.
  • Experience working with third-party leave administrators.
  • Payroll or compensation planning experience.

Why You'll Love It Here

You'll play a key role in shaping the employee experience by supporting programs that matter most to our people. Every day brings something different—from helping a new parent navigate leave, to assisting an employee with benefits questions, to supporting compensation initiatives that reward great work.

In short: you'll help take care of the people who help our business succeed. Ready to make a difference? We'd love to hear from you.
