Symetra is seeking an HR Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team.
About the roleIn this role, you'll play a key role in helping teams grow by finding and hiring great talent. You'll collaborate with hiring managers to understand their needs, guide them through the hiring process, and ensure a smooth experience for candidates. Whether you come from a recruiting background, HR or bring transferable skills in communication, coordination, or customer service, this role offers a chance to make a meaningful impact.
Whatyou will do
- Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle—from sourcing and interviewing to offer and onboarding.
- Guide managers through the interview process and help them identify the best talent.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment cycle.
- Other duties and projects as requested.

Salary Range: $72,700 - $121,100 plus eligibility for an annual bonus program.
Who You Are- 3‑5 years of experience in recruiting, HR, or transferable experience from a related field.
- Ability to understand client needs and apply strategic, tailored recommendations that drive results.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively across stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain structure in a fast‑paced environment.
- A collaborative mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships, leverage networks, and source top talent or resources effectively.
- Openness to feedback and a proactive approach to learning and adapting in a dynamic environment.
- High level of accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of work, ensuring quality and consistency.
- High School Diploma required.
