Human Resources Coordinator
The Human Resources Coordinator will hold a pivotal position, providing transactional HR support to employees and leaders. This role involves offering users easy, searchable, and relevant information through Knowledge Articles. The coordinator is dedicated to delivering an excellent customer experience across various HR aspects, including onboarding, career development, payroll and benefits administration, performance management, and offboarding. The role focuses on customer service, delivering service results to the workforce.
Responsibilities
- Review incoming HR service requests and complete or delegate to other assignment groups as applicable.
- Input data into payroll systems, including earnings, deductions, and job change workflows.
- Collaborate with other HR service team members to ensure that Service Level Agreement (SLA) time frames are met.
- Participate as a project member in the implementation of the hourly shared service.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in human resources practices.
- Strong data entry skills.
- Experience in administrative support and clerical tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field of study, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience in Human Resources.
- Employee-focused attitude with a high level of professionalism and discretion.
- Tech-savvy, able to navigate online systems effectively.
Work Environment
This is primarily an onsite role, with flexibility for working from home one day per week. The environment is focused on collaboration and meeting service level agreements, with an emphasis on professionalism and discretion.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ames, IA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
