HR Director, Field (Remote | National Scope | Build What Comes Next)
S&S Activewear is building a high performance, people first culture across our distribution centers and field operations. As part of this transformation, we are seeking a strategic, operationally minded HR Director, Field to elevate our people agenda, strengthen frontline leadership capability, and drive organizational effectiveness across multiple sites. Reporting to the SR Director of HR Field and serving as a key member of the Extended HR leadership team, this role ensures our field organization is equipped, engaged, and aligned to deliver exceptional results.
This is a fully remote leadership role with national reach, significant visibility, and tremendous opportunity for impact.
Monday‑Friday, Full‑Time, Exempt. Salary Range: $145,000‑$175,000 (based on experience) with bonus potential.
What You'll Do Is Centered In Our Values Lead with Respect- Build authentic partnerships with field and distribution center leaders to understand operational needs and workforce priorities.
- Foster an inclusive, employee centered experience that reflects our values and strengthens engagement across all sites.
- Develop and mentor a high performing Field HR team through coaching, feedback, and servant leadership.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on organizational design, leadership effectiveness, and workforce planning.
- Continuously evaluate and improve HR processes, tools, and strategies to drive efficiency, consistency, and operational excellence.
- Challenge conventional approaches and identify innovative solutions to complex field based challenges.
- Raise the standard for execution, accountability, and leadership capability across all regions.
- Lead change initiatives that reinforce culture, strengthen performance, and improve retention.
- Proactively identify and solve team member concerns that preserve direct relationships with team members.
- Champion a data driven, technology enabled approach to Field HR.
- Leverage HR systems, analytics, and reporting to identify trends, predict challenges, and drive evidence based decisions.
- Develop dashboards and workforce insights that help leaders make smarter, faster decisions.
- Use data to improve safety, compliance, staffing stability, and frontline effectiveness.
- Lead HR strategy and execution across distribution centers and field operations.
- Ensure HR processes are efficient, compliant, scalable, and consistently executed across all sites.
- Conduct root cause analyses on turnover, engagement, and performance challenges, implementing targeted action plans.
- Partner with Corporate HR and Legal to resolve complex employee relations matters.
- Manage the Field HR budget with discipline and operational rigor.
- Partner closely with Operations, Talent Acquisition, Learning Talent Enablement, Communications, and business leaders to strengthen the employee experience.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to executives on workforce trends, leadership capability, and organizational effectiveness.
- Build strong relationships across all levels of the organization to drive shared success.
- Support enterprise‑wide initiatives that enhance culture, retention, and organizational health.

Required Experience- 8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with significant experience supporting field, distribution center, or multi‑site operations.
- Demonstrated success partnering with senior operations leaders in fast paced, high volume environments.
- Proven leadership development and executive coaching experience that drives sustained behavioral change.
- Deep experience in employee relations, organizational design, talent development, and workforce planning.
- Strong experience using HR metrics, analytics, and data to drive decisions.
