Position Summary
The Associate Vice President is responsible for the overall development of plans, processes, programs and metrics for the Leave of Absence Department. Manage escalated issues to ensure responsive and thorough issue resolution as well as optimal collaboration between internal departments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Create a client-focused culture by leading the implementation of new processes and solutions.
- Ensure team members appropriately balance standardization and consistency of processes with the need for flexibility for clients.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with client owners, client appointed contacts and/or onsite supervisors, provide sound guidance that contribute to client’s success and growth of their business which results in high customer satisfaction and retention.
- Build cross-functional partnerships to address issues and manage escalations.
- Leverage internal relationships to identify opportunities, trends and process improvements.
- Take action with other departments to help achieve business goals and drive high client satisfaction.
- Ensure collaboration and synergy among all team members so that people and processes are enabled to drive flawless execution of objectives.
- Administers leave programs in accordance with the applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Works in collaboration with VP of Client HR and HR Compliance to ensure legal compliance of leave administration.
- Serves as subject matter expert for the LOA team and Strategic Relations team.
- Provides consultation and training to clients and internal staff on the LOA and Interactive Process, partnering in collaboration with internal PrismHR training team.
- Partners with Workers' Compensation regarding any cases that are eligible for federal or state leaves.
- Escalate complex client issues and follow through to resolution, ensuring appropriate communication to all involved parties. Must adjust effectively while working with different clients who have different structures, processes, requirements or cultures.
- Sets high standards of performance for self and others and assume responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments or tasks; adhere to established SOPs and KPIs.
- Establish course of action for self and others to ensure that work is completed efficiently, leading projects as needed.
- Build, maintain and promote relationships with team members, peers across disciplines, sales staff and all other company team members ensuring effective coordination of communications and services affecting clients.
- Responds in a timely manner to phone, email and in-person inquiries from employees, HR representatives and managers.
