Payroll & Benefits Specialist

Salary: $60,000–$70,000 + Bonus

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll accurately, including wages, deductions, garnishments, and tax with holdings
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, retirement, and leave of absence plans
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure the integrity of payroll and benefits data
  • Respond to employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, and related policies
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and Accounting teams to ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and timely processing
  • Manage payroll and benefits activities related to employee onboarding, status changes, and terminations
  • Support year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation, audits, and reporting requirements
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll and benefits regulations
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of payroll and benefits administration experience, preferably within a manufacturing or high-volume environment
  • Working knowledge of payroll systems, HRIS platforms, and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality
