HRIS Analyst —

At GTT we rely on accurate data and simple, reliable systems to run our business well. This role sits at the intersection of HR, technology and data, helping ensure our people systems and processes work, our data can be trusted, and our teams can make informed decisions.
As an entry‑level HRIS Analyst, you’ll be hands‑on from day one: supporting our HR systems (Workday), solving real user issues, and helping us make better use of people data.
What You’ll Be Doing- Keep our HR systems running smoothly: support the day‑to‑day administration of Workday through business‑process design and configuration (objective setting, performance assessment, merit process, bonus payout, hiring, recruiting, etc.).
- Act as the first point of contact for HR system queries, resolve issues or escalates when needed.
- Own data quality: complete employee‑data audits, run regular checks, fix issues before they become problems and support data uploads and large‑scale updates.
- Support better decisions with data: maintain standard reports and dashboards (e.g., headcount, turnover) and deliver ad‑hoc reporting to HR and the business.
- Participate in HR process improvement and innovation: identify friction points, suggest simpler workflows using Workday and digital tools, support testing and rollout of improved processes.
- Work across teams: partner with HR, payroll and IT to resolve issues quickly and help onboard and support system users.
- Handle data responsibly: treat employee data with full confidentiality and support compliance with GDPR and other data‑protection standards.
- Recent graduate (or about to graduate) in HR, Business, or a related field.
- First experience with HR data or HR systems (including internships).
- Strong Excel skills; comfortable handling data and finding issues.
- Curious about systems and how things work, not just following processes.
- High attention to detail and care about getting things right.
- Ownership mindset: if something is broken, you don’t ignore it.
- Adaptable, open to new ways of working, especially when technology can help.
- Comfortable suggesting ideas and improvements early in your career.
- Clear communication and the ability to keep things simple.
- Organised and able to prioritise work effectively.
- Nice to have: exposure to HR processes (employee lifecycle, payroll, benefits) and experience with reporting tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
- A genuinely hands‑on role where you learn fast.
- Exposure to a global organisation.

Normal office hours. Hybrid working at GTT Amsterdam office or remote working with flexibility to travel as and when required for customer or team meetings.
