This is a remote position.
SCallaghan is looking for a motivated Junior Recruitment Consultant to join our growing remote team.
This is a true 360 recruitment role with exposure to recruitment, business development, client engagement, sourcing, and talent management across a range of industries and projects.
If you enjoy speaking with people, building relationships, thinking on your feet, and want to gain valuable experience within a modern global recruitment environment, we’d love to hear from you.
This is a great opportunity for someone wanting hands-on experience while working closely with an experienced international recruitment and HR consultancy.
What you’ll be doing:
• Source, screen and engage with candidates.
• Assist with business development and client outreach.
• Support recruitment coordination and job advertising.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and candidates.
• Assist with recruitment projects across a variety of industries.
• Maintain accurate candidate and client records.
What we’re looking for:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence communicating professionally by telephone, email and online.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• A positive attitude and genuine willingness to learn.
• The ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Previous recruitment, sales, customer service or business development experience would be advantageous.
What you’ll need:
• A reliable laptop or desktop computer (mobile phones or tablets alone will not be sufficient).
• A stable internet connection suitable for video meetings and online work.
• A smartphone for calls, Whats App and day to day communication.
• A quiet professional workspace where confidential candidate and client calls and information can be handled securely and professionally.
• Experience and confidence using Microsoft Office and secure authentication tools (e.g. Microsoft Authenticator).
