Senior Analyst, Payroll & People Operations

Norwalk, CT | Hybrid (WFH Monday & Friday, Onsite Tuesday-Thursday)
$90,000-$105,000 Base (flexible to $110,000) + 8% Bonus

Why This Opportunity?

We're partnering with a growing, stable organization that is looking to add a Senior Analyst, Payroll & People Operations to its team. This is a newly created position following the consolidation of two roles, offering the opportunity to take ownership of payroll while serving as a key contributor to HR operations and an upcoming HRIS implementation.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys improving processes, leveraging technology, and partnering cross-functionally with both HR and Finance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end multi-state payroll processing and ensure payroll tax compliance
  • Prepare payroll reporting, reconciliations, and related journal entries
  • Play a lead role in an upcoming HRIS implementation and ongoing system optimization
  • Maintain HRIS data integrity, reporting, and system configuration
  • Identify and implement process improvements across payroll and HR operations
  • Partner closely with HR, Finance, and leadership on payroll-related initiatives
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of multi-state payroll experience
  • Strong knowledge of payroll tax compliance
  • Hands-on HRIS experience (Paycor preferred, but UKG, ADP, Dayforce, Rippling, Workday, or similar platforms are welcome)
  • Experience working cross-functionally with both HR and Finance
  • Strong systems aptitude with advanced Excel and technology skills
  • Experience supporting or leading an HRIS implementation is highly preferred
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base Salary: $90,000-$105,000 (flexible up to $110,000 for the right candidate)
  • 8% Annual Bonus
