Overview

Sapient is a consulting and private‑equity firm that helps organizations discover knowledge to make outstanding decisions. The Client Services team is scaling fast in North America and plays a critical role in driving high‑performance talent acquisition for CS Associate hires in AMER.

Responsibilities
  • Own the full talent strategy for CS AMER Associate hiring and provide global support for Central Functions.
  • Build an outbound‑first sourcing engine targeting high‑potential passive candidates for CS Associate roles.
  • Identify and pursue talent in competitive student environments, professional networks and talent communities.
  • Develop repeatable sourcing playbooks that go beyond job boards, with clear frameworks for engaging and converting passive talent at volume.
  • Own end‑to‑end early‑careers strategy across Ontario universities, building deep relationships with career offices, faculty, clubs, and student organizations.
  • Embed Sapient in competitive environments such as case competitions, debate circuits, sport teams, chess clubs, and esports communities.
  • Design a campus touchpoint calendar that ensures visibility throughout the student decision‑making cycle.
  • Architect and execute a high‑impact brand strategy across the Toronto and Ontario markets to position Sapient as a premier early‑career destination.
  • Refine rigorous assessment rubrics and interview workflows to identify grit, bias to action, and alignment with the high‑performance candidate profile.
  • Lead ongoing review of the full recruitment funnel to identify leaks, celebrate what is working and implement rapid fixes.
  • Translate weekly data into actionable process changes and hold the team accountable to continuous improvement.
  • Champion AI tools to automate top‑of‑funnel tasks and accelerate candidate data analysis.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, delivering data‑driven talent recommendations and optimizing interview workflows.
  • Build and manage a high‑performance recruitment team, hiring for grit, delegating volume load, and fostering a culture of drive and curiosity.
Requirements
  • 4‑7 years of Talent Acquisition experience, ideally with at least 2‑3 years in a leadership role at a high‑growth tech scale‑up.
  • Proven experience managing high‑volume hiring cycles, specifically for early‑careers in client services or adjacent industries.
  • Demonstrated track record building outbound talent pipelines and campus programs.
  • Candidate‑first philosophy that prioritizes individual journey and professional growth.
  • Experience running or contributing to employer brand programs, including content, events or ambassador initiatives.
  • Deep familiarity with the Toronto and GTA talent market and the Ontario university landscape.
  • Proficiency with funnel data and conversion metrics to quickly identify problems and implement fixes.
  • Comfort with AI‑powered recruiting tools and a drive to adopt modern practices.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable operating at senior levels with low ego.
  • Working legal right to be employed in Canada and specifically Ontario; sponsorship or visa support not offered.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary range: $80,000‑$100,000 CAD per annum.
  • Hybrid role:
    Monday, Tuesday and Thursday in our downtown Toronto office; up to 20 remote days annually.
