The Recruiting Coordinator is a full-time hybrid role based in the New York City Metropolitan / Stamford, CT area, combining work-from-home flexibility with some on-site presence. This role supports the full recruiting lifecycle by posting job openings, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and coordinating communication between candidates, hiring managers, and external partners. The Recruiting Coordinator will maintain candidate records, update applicant tracking systems, and ensure a smooth and consistent candidate experience.
Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting job descriptions, supporting career fair and recruiting event logistics, assisting with interview feedback collection, and preparing offer and onboarding documentation. The role also partners with HR and operations to understand staffing needs, support employer branding initiatives, and help streamline recruiting processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive, professional relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external stakeholders.
- Experience supporting hiring processes, including job postings, candidate screening, and coordination across multiple open roles.
- Customer service mindset with a focus on responsiveness, follow-through, and delivering a high-quality candidate experience.
- Interviewing support skills, including scheduling, preparing interview materials, and gathering structured feedback from interviewers.
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills for emails, job descriptions, candidate outreach, and internal updates.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and common office tools (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Prior experience in recruiting, HR coordination, or talent acquisition support preferred.
