Hours:
8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Mon–Fri. In the office 2 days per week, typically Tuesday and Thursday.
The Human Resources Generalist provides essential HR support to caregivers and partners with the HR Business Partner (HRBP) team to support Finance, Legal, Marketing and Communications, Risk/Compliance, HR initiatives and programs. This role reports to the Director of Human Resources and focuses on applying HR best practices to help achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities- Support HR initiatives and programs, including HR analytics, employee relations, engagement, training and development, and diversity and inclusion.
- Collaborate with the HRBP team to deliver effective human resources services aligned with organizational goals.
- Assist with HR policies, employment law compliance, and related regulatory requirements across federal, state, and local levels.
- Analyze data across Human Resources, Payroll, Financial, and Clinical information to inform decision making.
- Maintain confidentiality and build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Support process improvement and conflict resolution as needed.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related discipline required.
- 3 or more years of experience as an HR Generalist or in related HR areas (recruitment, benefits, payroll, compensation, etc.) required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR systems (e.g., People Soft, Success Factors) is required.
- Strong data analysis skills and ability to interpret HR, payroll, financial, and clinical data.
- In-depth understanding of HR policies and employment laws (Wage and Hour, FMLA, Title VII, etc.) and related regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of accreditation requirements (e.g., Joint Commission, Indiana State Department of Health) and hospital licensure considerations.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, collaborate effectively, and build relationships.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and relate to individuals at all levels of the organization.
