Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HRIS Technical Lead to manage, configure, and optimize our core HR technology ecosystem. In this role, you will serve as the technical subject matter expert for our primary HR platforms, ensuring seamless system functionality, data integrity, and a frictionless user experience for employees and recruiters alike.
The ideal candidate brings strong, hands-on configuration experience with SAP Success Factors and Smart Recruiters and technical depth in the area of data management and integration in the HR space. The ideal candidate will also possess the ability to translate HR business processes and requirements into efficient and maintainable technical solutions.
Detailed Description
System Administration & Configuration
Platform Management: Lead the day-to-day administration, configuration, and maintenance of SAP Success Factors (Core HR, Employee Central, Talent, Recruitment / Onboarding modules) and Smart Recruiters ATS.Business Analysis & Logic: Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, and Finance teams to gather requirements and translate complex business needs into system configurations (e.g., custom workflows, custom fields, business rules, and permissions)Release Management: Evaluate bi-annual Success Factors updates and routine Smart Recruiters releases. Perform impact analysis, conduct regression testing, and implement new features that drive process improvement. Proactively identify and assess how advanced capabilities and innovation in the space can benefit Celestica and advocate for their adoption where appropriate.Integrations & Data Integrity
System Connections: Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain existing integrations between Success Factors, Smart Recruiters, and integrated systems (such as payroll).Concur Administration: Support or assist with the basic administration and alignment of SAP Concur expense/travel management relative to HR master data. Although experience with Concur is not a strict requirement, it would be considered a significant asset.Data Governance: Conduct routine data audits to ensure data integrity, compliance (GDPR/SOC2/local labor laws), and optimal system performance across all platforms in scope.Reporting & User Support
Analytics: Build, maintain, and schedule complex HR reports, dashboards, and analytics for leadership using built-in reporting tools such as WFA. Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI would be an assetTier 2/3 Support: Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues, system bugs, or configuration errors that cannot be resolved by the HR operations team. Interface with platform vendor (eg SAP for Success Factors) for further escalation and resolution.Enablement: Create technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and job aids for HR users and system administrators.Knowledge/Skills/Competencies
Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a knack for diagnosing system errors and identifying root causes rather than just fixing symptoms.Data Literacy: Proficient with data manipulation techniques and tools (e.g VLOOKUPs, Azure Data Factory, etc)Communication: Ability to bridge the gap between technical language and HR business operations, explaining complex system logic in plain terms.Preferred / Nice-to-Have
SAP Success Factors Associate Certifications.Hands-on experience or familiarity with the administration of SAP Concur
.Experience mapping API or working with integration middleware.Physical Demands
Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data. Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.Typical Experience
Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.HRIS Expertise: Minimum of 8+ years of dedicated HRIS administration experience.Success Factors Deep Dive: Proven, hands-on configuration experience within SAP Success FactorsRecruitment Tech: Strong backend configuration knowledge of Smart Recruiters (managing career sites, hiring processes, interview templates, access control, etc).Typical Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or equivalent combination of work experience and education.Notes
