Position: HR Specialist, German Speaker

Reward and Career Changes team – UPM Global HR Services, Kraków, Poland.

What you'll do
  • Support local UPM units with administrative tasks related to the employment life‑cycle and benefits.
  • Co‑operate with HR business partners at UPM mills and office sites and external stakeholders such as payroll and benefits providers.
  • Provide advice to employees and managers on HR processes, policies, and questions via Service Now, phone, and chat.
  • Maintain personal, employment, compensation and benefit data in the HR system (Workday).
  • Prepare HR documents and reports.
  • Participate in additional HR projects and initiatives as needed.
Who you are
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Previous HR experience or a strong interest in HR development.
  • Comfortable working with various software and systems.
  • Committed to high‑quality service and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excel skills are an advantage.
  • Fluency in German and English (both mandatory).
