Talent Acquisition Consultant, Sr
Huntington Bank is seeking a senior Talent Acquisition Consultant to join its forward‑thinking Integrated Talent Management Team. The role offers an inclusive culture, a stable work environment, and growth opportunities.
Responsibilities- Develop a deep understanding of the business segments you support and build strong ties with internal and external experts to serve as a trusted strategic advisor.
- Collaborate with leadership teams to devise recruiting roadmaps and strategies that showcase Huntington’s story through an inclusion‑focused lens.
- Leverage market intelligence and relationships, both internal and external, to create a pipeline of exceptional talent.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative business and peer relationships; share best practices and leverage peer expertise.
- Develop comprehensive candidate profiles by clarifying required job skills and competencies.
- Source and attract top talent for each position, assessing candidate fit to the company, team, and role.
- Present strengths and weaknesses of leading candidates and overcome hiring objections.
- Challenge the status quo, continuously seek improvement opportunities, and embrace change.
- Use metrics to analyze performance and drive results.
- Understand external factors affecting talent supply and the broader business environment.
- Demonstrate flexibility, organization, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic culture.
- Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills with professional grammar and demeanor.
- Show intellectual curiosity to learn new approaches and technologies that improve the recruiting process.
- Proactively anticipate needs beyond routine tasks.
- Understand federal and state employment laws and regulations.
- Possess expertise in MS Office, internet tools, and Applicant Tracking Systems (Workday).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of five years of full‑cycle recruiting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree, or 10 years of full‑cycle recruiting in lieu of a degree.
- Proven ability to develop inclusion‑focused recruiting strategies.
- Experience using ATS platforms, particularly Workday.
- Strong analytical and metric‑driven mindset.
- Workplace type:
Office. Certain positions may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement combining office and remote work. - Compensation range: $57,000 – $113,000 annually. Actual compensation varies by location, experience, and education.
- Eligible for an applicable incentive compensation plan.
- Benefits include health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave, holidays and paid time off (PTO).
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis. Huntington will not sponsor immigration benefits.
