Location: Fort Collins, CO (in office one full day 8-5 PM per week, otherwise remote)
FLSA Status: Non-exempt, regular full-time
Salary Range: Typical starting range for a new employee in this role is $26.50 to $28.48
Position DescriptionThe Human Resources Generalist is a member of the Human Resources team, reporting to the HR Manager. The primary responsibilities of the person is to provide general recruiting/administrative support for home office and voyage hiring processes. In addition, the Generalist will provide administrative support for the HR department. This position requires a high-level of initiative and ability to work with little supervision.
We are seeking a highly organized professional who excels at providing internal and external customer care.
- Manages searches for home office and voyage positions (application review, scheduling interviews, collaboration with hiring managers, reference checks; etc.)
- Conducts orientation and managing onboarding processes for home office employees
- Primary Liaison for voyage Parent Caregiver Co-Op Liaison (hiring, training, inventory of program’s supplies/materials)
- Maintains and facilitates updates for all home office and voyage job descriptions
- Maintains and updates personnel files
- Maintains and performs monthly audits for I-9 records
- Employee recognition/engagement: service awards, work anniversary announcements, birthdays, etc.
- Coordinate events (e.g. staff meetings, employee social events, orientations, and training sessions)
- Assist members of the Human Resources team with administrative tasks (expense reports, CSU IDs, receipt collection for special events, audits, etc.)
- Provide general office support including ordering/stocking supplies, maintenance requests, office equipment, etc.
- Support facilities/operations needs of building/office suite
- Participate in bi-weekly human resources meetings, taking meeting minutes
- Serve as hotel liaison for ISE staff and guests; assist with travel reservations and arrangements
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Two years professional work experience
- Effective and flexible professional communicator; experienced in communicating with internal and external customers at all levels
- Outstanding teamwork/collaboration skills
- Ability to problem solve using critical thinking skills and independent judgment
- Exemplary organizational skills (prioritization, documentation, and workflow management)
- Skillful attention to detail
- Two or more professional work experience in the area of human resources
- Two or more years of experience in the area of candidate recruitment
- Experience using a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) such as ADP or Workday
- Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace
- Ability and temperament to work with sensitive and confidential information
- Proficient with technology and eagerness to learn new software systems
- This is a full-time position:
Monday - Friday, 8 a.m.
- 5 p.m. MT - Occasional evening/weekend/holiday work may be required as job duties demand
- This position requires work performed in an office environment
- The majority of work time requires sitting, bending at neck, waist, legs and arms; twisting body; and changing positions asional standing, walking, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching
- Requires repetitive motions with hands and fingers such as keyboarding, use of telephones, cell phones, etc.
- Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus
- Work requires close attention to detail and accuracy and varies in nature with periodic interruptions
- Computer and phone work at a desk for majority of the day
