This is a contract hybrid role located in Manama, Bahrain, with flexibility for some remote work. The Head of Compliance will oversee and ensure the company adheres to all applicable legal and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include managing compliance frameworks, monitoring adherence to regulations, conducting audits, providing strategic advice to senior stakeholders, and updating policies to align with industry standards and legal obligations.
Qualifications- Strong knowledge of Compliance Management, Regulatory Compliance, and Legal Compliance practices
- In‑depth understanding of relevant laws and regulations within the MENA region
- Excellent analytical skills for policy assessment and operational improvement
- Proven ability to develop and implement compliance frameworks
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- A bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or a related field is required; a master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CAMS, CCEP) is a plus
- Experience working in compliance roles within the MENA region is highly desirable
