Internship – Global Leadership Development

Internship

As part of your internship, you will have the chance to engage in the following tasks:

  • Support with the deployment of global learning and development programmes, including managing communication between stakeholders and collecting and analysing relevant deployment data.
  • Assess leadership development program impact by analyzing data across multiple datasets, recognizing key insights, identifying areas for development and research, and creating improvement strategies.
  • Support the continuous review and improvement of learning and development measurement approaches, including researching predictor variables of learning success and ROI, benchmarking other measurement approaches in the field, and suggesting improvements to the measurement strategy.
  • Handle day-to-day learning administration tasks, such as enhancing training materials and communication pieces, managing communication for leadership programmes via email, and supporting specific delivery moments of several leadership programmes.
  • Bring your own ideas and creativity, with plenty of room for input that is valued and welcomed.
  • During your internship you will get the opportunity to get to know HEINEKEN as a company, also outside your department. You will be given trust and freedom to work like a real entrepreneur, with guidance that fits your needs.

    The Department

    The internship takes place in the Global Talent and Leadership (GT&L) Department, which focuses on attracting, developing and bringing talents and leaders to the next level. Within this diverse team, people from various backgrounds and areas of expertise work together to unlock the full potential of HEINEKEN’s people. Working in the GT&L Team will give you the opportunity to interact with experts from data and technology to learning experience, so that every day brings something exciting and new.

    In this internship position, you will mainly focus on leadership development.

    The Terms of Employment
    • Your starting date is 1st September 2026.
    • The internship is fulltime.
    • The duration of the internship is 6 months, in consultation with your internship supervisor.
    • It can be a practice-oriented internship or theoretical research internship, in consultation with your internship supervisor.
    • You will be based in the Head Office in Amsterdam.
    • During your internship, you have the flexibility to work from home, in a hybrid setup, or on-site for two days a week.
    • You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month, based on fulltime.
    • If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed.

    • You are a student at WO/master level in Human Resource Management, Organisational Development, Organisational Psychology, Educational Sciences or Business Administration.
    • You are full of ideas and have a strong willingness to learn new things.
    • You have a proactive mindset and enjoy taking ownership in a fast-paced environment.
    • You are flexible and able to prioritize tasks and projects.
    • You have an international mindset.
    Conditions of HEINEKEN
  • You are enrolled at an educational institution for the entire duration of your internship and can provide proof of enrollment for the current academic year during onboarding.
  • In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution.
  • In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.
  • You reside in the Netherlands for the entire duration of your internship. Please note that HEINEKEN does not provide housing.
  • You are in possession of a valid citizen service number (BSN).
