Role Summary & Purpose

The VP, Global Corporate Responsibility will develop, implement, and monitor processes and programs that foster a culture of inclusion and community for all. This leader will partner closely with Senior Synchrony Leaders, Employee Resource Groups, Client HR Managers, and external partners.

Responsibilities
  • Owns the annual corporate responsibility program roadmap, aligning it with company goals, engagement, and talent management priorities.
  • Provides oversight and management of Employee Resource Groups, including annual planning and consistent operating practices to strengthen business connections and culture.
  • Evaluates company programs and initiatives to ensure they align with the For All culture, emphasizing respect and belonging.
  • Owns and delivers the annual Global UNITE Conference, including planning, inclusive programming, budget management, and on‑site execution.
  • Partners with Talent Management and Talent Acquisition teams to strengthen the talent pipeline and leadership development initiatives.
  • Leverages analytical skills to utilize external market intelligence for benchmarking, evaluating, and optimizing internal programming.
  • Develops and analyzes metrics to assess the effectiveness of corporate responsibility initiatives and prepares quarterly reports to senior management.
  • Performs other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree in HR, Business, or equivalent work experience.
  • 8+ years of HR experience with strong business acumen.
  • Excellent project management, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience leading enterprise‑wide initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
  • HR functional experience in employee relations, staffing, and HR practices and policies.
  • Technical proficiency with MS Office and other management tools.
  • Flexibility to travel for business as required.

  • Experienced communicator with strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to work with and influence all levels of management.

Salary & Benefits

Grade/Level: 14. Salary range: $150,000 – $250,000 USD annually, with an annual bonus based on individual and company performance. The compensation offered within this range will be based on work experience, skill level, and knowledge.

Our Way of Working

We offer flexibility with the option to work from home or one of our hubs. Employees may need to commute to the nearest hub for in‑person engagement activities such as regular meetings, training, and culture events.

Eligibility Requirements
  • Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be willing to undergo a drug test and background investigation upon hire.
  • Must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We do not sponsor visas.
