Join Our Team as a HYBRID Onboarding Specialist – Contract Opportunity (6-8 Months)
Location: Wilmington, Delaware
Pay Range: $/hour

We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Onboarding Specialist to play a pivotal role in welcoming and integrating talented professionals at a leading healthcare organization. This hybrid role combines remote flexibility with on-site collaboration in Wilmington, Delaware, offering an exciting chance to make a direct impact during a critical growth period.
WhatYou'll Do:
- Facilitate smooth onboarding for both clinical and non-clinical staff, processing 6-8 hires weekly during low-volume periods and up to 20+ during peak times
- Manage I-9 verification, coordinate with employee health, and oversee internal transfers and moves
- Utilize standardized checklists and processes to ensure consistency and compliance throughout the onboarding journey
- Collaborate with Senior Onboarding Specialists and participate in initial training sessions to enhance your onboarding expertise
- Engage with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, with a blend of remote work and one-day on-site training in Wilmington
- Proven onboarding experience, ideally within healthcare or a related industry (preferred, not mandatory)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent of 4 years in Human Resources or benefits administration
- Proficiency with systems integrated with electronic offer letter signatures
- Strong self-starter with excellent internet connectivity and remote work discipline
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Healthcare onboarding experience, especially with clinical roles such as nurses, physical therapists, or similar
- Familiarity with electronic healthcare onboarding tools and compliance procedures
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- At least 2 years of onboarding or HR experience in a healthcare setting
- Business casual attire when on-site in Wilmington (5% of time)
- Ability to work during typical Monday-Friday business hours
- Willingness to assist during high-volume hiring periods and adapt to workflow needs
