Talent Acquisition Specialist

Full Time – Clerical – Home Office, Renton, WA, US

The Taco Time NW Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for delivering a best‑class candidate experience by supporting the Talent Acquisition Manager and the People & Culture (P&C) team across a variety of recruiting and administrative functions. This role provides full‑cycle recruiting support for both restaurant and home office positions, coordinates the onboarding process, maintains HRIS data, and assists with the day‑to‑day operations of the Talent Acquisition team.

This opportunity will require 3 days in the office. This is not a remote opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain relationships with candidates and hiring managers during the talent fulfillment process to ensure a consistent and positive candidate experience
  • Act as Brand Ambassador using creative and strategic methods to attract talent
  • Partner with Marketing team to engage social media and online job boards to strategically market positions and enhance TTNW’s online presence
  • Continually evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of recruiting process and maintain all appropriate data in HRIS and other dashboards as required
  • Conduct full life cycle recruiting for restaurant positions (Crew thru Assistant Manager): posting, sourcing, pre‑screening applications and resumes, scheduling and coordinating interviews, assisting in the selection and coordinating offers on an as needed basis
  • Continually look for new trends in the recruiting industry that will assist in finding and attracting top talent
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews and create interview packets as necessary
  • Approve employment offers for non‑management/restaurant positions
  • Assist with the creation and review of all recruitment collateral materials such as post cards, flyers, brochures, etc.
  • Perform routine administrative transactions and manage candidate records through our HRIS (ADP)
  • Assist with I‑9 administration, compliance and auditing
  • Create and run reports as necessary using the HRIS platform
  • Initiate on‑boarding process for new hires
  • Provide support to candidates and hiring managers who have questions or require assistance in completing tasks in the HRIS System
  • Initiate background check process and monitor reports to ensure timely onboarding of candidates
  • Assist with the coordination of the Employee Referral Program
  • Assist with the planning, development and implementation of recruitment strategies
  • Schedule and attend job fairs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with high schools, technical schools, colleges, military and diversity hiring sources
  • Provide administrative support to P&C Department
  • Demonstrate team building and interpersonal skills by maintaining positive, collaborative, and constructive interpersonal relationships. Understands and practices the principles of effective teamwork, self‑motivation and the ability to work independently in a collaborative setting
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks/projects at one time
  • Adapts to changes in work assignments and environment, is willing to assume additional responsibility and learn new processes
  • Support special projects and other designated activities, as assigned. Performs other related duties and projects as assigned by Manager
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years recruiting/human resources experience, preferably in a restaurant or service industry environment
  • Ability to use a variety of software, including Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Must be detailed oriented, highly organized and able to manage conflicting priorities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment with strong customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to protect confidential information
  • Willingness to learn new things and be adaptable to changing priorities
  • HRIS experience (preferably ADP)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associates degree in business administration, human resources management
