Summary:
The Human Resources Generalist plays a key role in driving business performance by partnering closely with leaders and employees. This position supports our Cretex Medical Component and Device Technologies group at our Brooklyn Park facility. Daily, in-person collaboration is essential to success in this position, and this role is not eligible for hybrid or remote work. In this hands-on role, you’ll contribute across the employee lifecycle— onboarding, employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, and wellness—while helping leaders navigate people-related decisions with confidence and care.
Responsibilities- Build strong, trusted partnerships with business leaders and employees through consistent onsite presence
- Lead and support HR initiatives both locally and in collaboration with the corporate HR team
- Provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, and recommendations to supervisors and managers
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and lead more complex HR process enhancements
- Effectively resolve employee relations issues using sound judgment and empathy
- Partner with line managers to proactively assess workforce needs and support both tactical and strategic staffing plans
- Conduct onboarding and offboarding sessions to ensure a positive employee experience
- Facilitate new-hire check-ins and ongoing employee touchpoints
- Support workplace committees, including wellness and people & culture initiatives
- Coordinate injury management, workers’ compensation, and employee leaves of absence
- Provide orientation and onboarding support for new hires
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or an active HR certification (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP)
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience with at least 2 years of Employee Relations Experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of state, local, and federal employment laws and regulations
