The Nursing Talent Advisor serves as a strategic consultant and recruitment partner for Bronson Healthcare Group’s nursing workforce. This role supports full‑cycle recruitment and workforce planning for Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and other licensed nursing professionals. The advisor collaborates closely with nursing leadership to align hiring strategies with patient care priorities, operational needs, and long‑term workforce goals.
Beyond traditional recruitment, the role contributes to nursing pipeline development, academic partnerships, workforce analytics, and community outreach—leveraging labor market insights and clinical workforce data to attract and retain high‑quality nursing talent.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Partnership & Consultation- Serve as a trusted advisor to nurse leaders and clinical executives, aligning recruitment strategies with staffing models and workforce plans.
- Consult on role requirements, hiring priorities, timelines, and market conditions to support informed decisions.
- Guide leaders through competency‑based interviewing and structured selection processes.
- Collaborate with hiring leaders throughout the Talent Acquisition process
. - Meet regularly with assigned hiring managers to review hiring progress, refine strategy, and coach leaders on TA best practices.
- Improve speed, quality, and stakeholder experience through proactive communication and partnership.
- Manage recruitment for inpatient, outpatient, specialty care, float pool, and critical staffing areas.
- Source, screen, interview, and manage candidates through application, offer, and onboarding stages.
- Ensure compliance with licensure, credentialing, union considerations, and organizational standards.
- Build relationships with nursing schools, residency programs, and professional organizations.
- Support nurse residency, early‑career, and student‑to‑practice initiatives.
- Participate in advisory boards, clinical placement discussions, and workforce development efforts.
- Utilize workforce analytics, vacancy data, turnover trends, and labor market insights to inform strategy.
- Partner with HR Business Partners and Workforce Planning teams on forecasting, vacancy reduction, and succession planning.
- Incorporate compensation and market intelligence into hiring and offer strategies.
- Represent Bronson at career fairs, open houses, community events, and academic functions (including offsite travel).
- Champion Bronson’s employer brand and commitment to patient‑centered care, professional development, and DEI.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Talent teams on targeted recruitment campaigns.
- Leverage AI tools, digital sourcing strategies, and targeted campaigns to attract passive and hard‑to‑fill nursing talent.
- Utilize ATS (Workday preferred), CRM tools, and recruitment analytics to optimize workflows.
- Stay current on nursing licensure requirements, union dynamics, and healthcare labor trends.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Nursing, or related field required.
- RN license or clinical background strongly preferred.
- Minimum 3+ years of talent acquisition, recruitment, or HR experience (healthcare preferred).
- Experience consulting with clinical leaders and recruiting licensed nursing professionals across multiple specialties.
- Proficiency with ATS (Workday preferred), Excel, and recruitment metrics.
- Ability to attend offsite recruitment and academic events (travel >25 miles).
- Strong understanding of nursing roles, licensure requirements, and clinical workforce dynamics.
- Knowledge of healthcare labor markets, union considerations, and nursing recruitment best practices.
- Proficiency with ATS, recruitment analytics, and workforce metrics.
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Strong consultative, interpersonal, and influence skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast‑paced environment.
- Commitment to delivering a positive, inclusive, and compliant candidate experience.
- Strong collaboration skills across HR, clinical leadership, education, and external partners.
- Prolonged sitting and computer use (up to 80% of workday).
- Occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 20 lbs.
- High mental concentration required to meet deadlines and compliance standards.
- Professional office or hybrid home‑office environment.
- Extensive computer use and frequent interaction with Finance, HR, IT, leadership, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
